〔ロイター動画ニュース〕パキスタン政府への抗議活動が激化

Nov 7 - Pakistan's political opposition is mobilising its supporters for mass protest against the emergency rule imposed by President Pervez Musharraf.

Two of the country's former prime ministers, Benazir Bhutto in Pakistan and Nawaz Sharif in exile in Saudi Arabia, have broken their silence to call upon their followers to take to the streets in protest.

They want Musharraf to quit as army chief, go ahead with elections and restore the constition.

This follows days of protest from many of Pakistan's lawyers.
